Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy is the traditional talk therapy session. I offer support and guidance as you navigate life, process difficult emotions, and discover your authentic self. This can be anything from managing daily stressors to making big life decisions. Some people just need a sounding board to help gain clarity in their life and others need a place to process deep emotions that feel unsafe to access alone. Either way, I am here to meet you where you are at and discover a more attuned and peaceful version of yourself.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR Therapy is a specialized therapy aimed to address traumatic events that have negatively impacted your functioning or the way you see and interact with the world. Sometimes that can be big tragic events like a car accident, and some times it can be general anxieties; social anxiety, performance anxiety, testing anxiety, or difficulty cultivating a healthy romantic relationship.
Many people have found ways to manage their anxiety or PTSD symptoms, but remain bothered and tired from the pursuit. EMDR works with our negative belief system which underly our life struggles, and works to diffuse our negative feelings towards ourselves and others. We typically know where our “issues” come from but struggle to be able to work through them to enjoy a life we are happy with. If you are feeling stuck in some aspect of your life, or feel like you have hit a wall in traditional talk therapy, it might be time to try a new approach such as EMDR.
Coaching
Coaching focuses on collaborating together and setting specific goals that align with your values, as well as identifying actionable tasks that you can take to get there. This can be helpful in young adulthood, early recovery, or throughout a transition in life or your career. We will create accountability and motivation to help you meet your goals, setting realistic expectations that help you stay on track and build confidence in yourself.
